   The media could not be loaded.So I had this old Nikon Coolpix 885 sitting on the shelf for the past twenty years or so, as new cameras pushed it to the rear. Then, someone asked if I had a camera I could loan them for a short trip. I dusted off the Coolpix, but the battery was quite dead, and would not hold a charge.This PowerTrust set of two batteries and charger saved the day. The two batteries look exactly like the original, with the right shape and contacts for the camera. The dual charger used a mini-USB to attach to a standard 5 volt power supply, which is not included. It does come with a basic instruction sheet.The batteries fit snugly into the charger, and two red lights come on to show that the batteries are charging. After a while, they begin to flash alternately. Eventually, a few hours later, they light up blue, and charging is done. My camera accepted the new battery without problems, and continues to work well, with spare battery available when needed.There is a CE seal on the charger, but, in general, I would not leave devices as this plugged in longer than needed to charge the batteries.
