   03/10/2015 – UpdateI’ve used these two batteries for about four months. I am getting a consistent 2.5 hours of recording time out of each one of them. Full charge time is about 1.5 hours. It is nice to have a spare battery as I use my Contour HD daily in recording my driving.These batteries seem to work as well as my original OEM batteries. Having an external charger has been nice and having a car charger adapter even better. I’ve gotten pretty close to 3 hours of filming out of my batteries, very similar to what I was getting with the OEM battery that came with my Contour ROAM_HD unit. So far, so good. We’ll see how they last over time.

   I purchased a ContourHD helmet camContourHD 1080p Helmet Cameraback in 2011 and use it for filming trail rides on my dirt bike. The helmet cam is great, but the battery it came with was starting to wear out and I wasn’t getting as much run time as I used to. The original battery had also gotten a little swollen (from heat?) and stuck in the camera a little making it hard to get out. I was surprised to come across replacement batteries and an external charger that would fit the helmet cam so I went ahead and made the purchase. I have used each of the batteries and both work great so far. I usually charge them in the helmet cam using a USB cable rather than the quick charger because they should last longer that way, but it is really nice to have the quick charger if I’m in a pinch and don’t have time to wait for the slow charge. These batteries are of good quality and I would recommend. They run longer than my original battery did when brand new!

   Works great with my Contour+2. I charged these up, dropped them in my coat pocket and hit the slopes. Even after all day snowboarding in well below freezing temperatures, they held charge great!
