I have my v lock battery charger but I also own 3 v lock or v mount style batteries, this is a great option if you are looking to charge an added battery if you are needing another charging option.This charger simply connects to the P Tap port on your battery, shows a red light for charging and when chargers appears blue, super easy and convenient. I have needed this charger in a pinch and I’m glad I have it in my kit now, great tool.

We travel with multiple V-mount batteries. In addition to powering our camera rig (camera, monitor & video recorder), V-mount batteries power time-lapse photography and provide back up power for our phones and other electronic devices. This D-tap quick charger with protection controls is just what we need to keep our batteries charged during and after photo sessions. A small LED on the power brick shows the status of a charge (red-charging, green-fully charged). The charger works with V lock and gold mount batteries and can even supply DC power directly to a camera or other device with the right connections. The output (DC 16.8V 2.0A max) is just what we needed, and frees up our other USB-C quick chargers for other tasks. Recommended.
