   The LCD screen is much brighter than the prior models of the same brand. However, these do not include a switch for selecting low or fast charging. From the product description, i presume they are fast charging, but that isn’t certain. The AC plug fits into the unit very tightly, which is a good i suppose, so it doesn’t unplug easily by accident. I haven’t tried to DC connector as yet, so no comment is appropriate for that functionality.These universal chargers are made with interchangeable battery plates, which have a tendency to slide off the charging base unit when the battery is removed after charging. This brand has this problem also, but to a lesser degree than similar chargers i purchased years ago (Pearston brand from B & H, piece of junk), so i just tape up the back of the base unit so the battery plates don’t slide off during removal of the battery. It’s a pain, but this is the only dual well acceptable charger brand that charges my D54 batteries.I expect it to fail eventually, so i bought two in order to extend the useful life of my older favorite Panny 90A camera. Excepting for unexpected drops and servo failures, the only other limiting factors to the functionality of these older cameras are the batteries, chargers and AC power adapters, of which i have spares while they’re available.Lastly, this brand is generally responsive to customer inquires and issues, as there have been occasional instances where an item did not fully pass muster, whereupon they courteously and promptly allowed returns. That has increased my confidence in purchasing items from this seller.
