Just purchased a Nikon Z 30 and wanted to add an extra battery and an external charger (rather than having to plug in the whole camera to charge). Of course, the Z 30 accepts power from an external USB power pack, so having a spare batter is not absolutely essential, but it’s a convenience that’s almost necessary when taking lots of photos and videos on an extended trip.The battery works just fine in my Z 30 – no weird error messages or anything like that, and the charger is compact with a built-in plug that swivels out to go directly into an outlet. No problems, and the price is a considerable savings over Nikon’s own battery and charger.
