   The batteries and charge all work well. The Charging speed was fast. This unit has storage capacity in the base and the batteries fit nicely inside the charging unit. The “thumb print” button on the charging unit serves one purpose. When the readout status of each battery goes dark, you can press the button and it will show you the battery charge on each battery stored in the case. Everything works and works well. The reason for 4 stars is the price compared to other charging units. You would almost expect the case to charge the batteries on its own given its size and shape, however, it does not have an internal battery. The batteries must be charged with a usb cable like other charging units. I am just not sure the actual features of this charging unit out weigh the cost versus other charging units with batteris

   Works great! Charges fast, tells me the percentage of each battery which I love. It’s built nicely, feels high quality. The only thing Is that it’s kinda hard to get the lanyard through the hole. I used a needle to do it and it works that way. But besides that, it’s a must buy

   There are two versions of this case: the case on its own OR the case with two batteries. Get the case with two batteries.The cost difference is negligible, but the cost of one Nikon EN-EL14a battery is almost the same as this whole case with both batteries.The case is compact but not small. It has a smooth rubberized feel that you’ll be familiar with. Shaped like a camera, the “lens” is a display that gives you charge levels for each battery. The “shutter” button wakes up said display. There is a spot for storing a spare SD card, as well as both batteries. The lid closes solidly and is kept shut by several magnets. Two holes on the right side will accommodate small lanyard, while the USB-C port is on the left.A cable is included, but any USB-C cable works and any standard charging brick will suffice, as the unit will take a 9V or a 5V input (both at 2A).As for the batteries themselves, they have a rated capacity about 20% less than a Nikon battery, but the cost/mAh is so cheap it’s not even close to a dealbreaker. Plus, the case charges both batteries simultaneously so you’ll always have power when you need it. I had no issues charging the included batteries, the OEM battery from Nikon, or the aftermarket battery I purchased a few years ago.I will note that the battery level has dropped over the last couple of weeks while they’ve been stored in the case. That may be a function of the batteries or leaving them connected in the case. I’ll keep an eye on that and update this review. In the interim, you can rotate the batteries (as shown in the final pic with the charging contacts face up) and still store them without leaving them in a charging position. The fit is a little tight but they’ll fit fully, allowing for the lid to close.I’m stoked to have this in my bag.
