   I will say that I will probably leave this one at home because it has a cord instead of the flip out prongs on the original that came with my D3100. That being said the cord is a far more convenient solution for the outlet or power strip which should be used with any sensitive electronics. The cord is also nice and long but not to long I simply prefer the flip out prongs when shooting on location because it’s one less thing to keep track of how ever once again if charging from am inverter in my truck the cord is far more convenient. The only problem with detachable cords is that they tend to wear out and become loose over time when connected and disconnected often. I herd from some review it broke after a while. I will edit this review of that happens but it probably wont. Also this charger should be plugged into a stable power source using a power strip ment for sensitive electronics not a cheap one used for power tools and such things. I consider the bad reviews with in margin of manufacturer defect and user error. But we will see.

   I recently lost, i.e., someone walked off with my camera bag. Luckily I had my camera in hand at the time, but I lost all of my camera accessories, and a lens >:-(When it came to replacing my battery charger I couldn’t think of one reason why I would go with anything other than a Nikon brand battery charger. The one I lost was fantastic. You just plug the thing into a wall outlet, and within an hour or so the battery was ready to go.This charger is definitely the right tool for the right job. I don’t know how well “compatible” chargers would work, because I went with “the real thing”.If I lost this item, I would yet again get another one just like it.5 stars all the way.Cheers.

   I was very skeptical but since the item was coming from a US based company, I decided to give it a try. The product works great and is in perfect condition. I highly suggest this company for any purchases. I will be using them in the future and will refer friends and family.

   My siblings borrowed my camera and returned it without the battery charger. I had just got it so I had a hard time figuring out which charger I needed. This product is just as described for compatibility with whichever camera you have. I was worried at first because the charging light was just blinking but my battery charged right up and I got my camera turned back on. So glad I found the replacement I needed. I have a Nikon D3400
