Confirming that this DECHIANY Dual Port Charging Station charges Ring batteries for Doorbell 2. I had hardwired doorbell 2 installed about 5 years ago and never had any issues. I didn’t even know that the battery is supposed to get recharged on occasion. Lately, the door bell videos kept on disconnecting from the Wi-Fi, and the video was in black & white. Initially, I thought that it was happening because of the severe cold temperature in the northeast this winter, but then when looking at the doorbell Health on the app, it clearly showed that the battery was in the red, down to 3% and then to 2%. This is when I started reading about the need to recharge the battery for a hardwired Ring door bell. It turns out that the new charges are not compatible with such an old doorbell as v2. After reading comments I decided to try this one – and it worked perfectly although it took 12 hours to fully charge a battery. I added the battery to recharge at 7 am and by 7 pm the light turned green. I am very happy with this purchase.
