I like this card reader because it has a little weight to it and doesn’t slide around (I did attach it to a small piece of hardwood to raise it up a little). I connected it directly to a USB-C port on my desktop with a USB-C cable (which was not provided) and works great. I like the concept of mini SD and regular size SD cards and that the card slots leave the card out just enough to grasp, not like another SanDisk reader that has a sloped front that makes the card almost impossible to grip. I also like this reader because it doesn’t have other card formats which likely will never be used; I use only SD style cards. The only question is it apparently does not accommodate the USB-II type card, reading it as if it is a USB-1.
