It secures the camera firmly using a bottom locating pin, a 1/4″-20 screw, and an M2.5 screw on the left side.The cage features adjustable side lock adapters, which can be tailored to fit different camera types. The adapters marked with “A7 IV” are compatible with Alpha 7 IV and Alpha 7R V, while those labeled “A7S III/A1″ are suitable for Alpha 7S III, Alpha 1, and Alpha 7R IV. Designed with precision, the cage incorporates all-round protective spacers to prevent your camera from scratches. It offers unhindered access to all interfaces, dials, buttons, and the battery door, ensuring seamless operation. A spindle spanner at the battery compartment is designed to match the camera curve, leaving room for a comfortable grip.The cage is equipped with 1/4″-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8” -16 locating holes, and cold shoe mounts to support a variety of accessories such as top handle 2165C, side handle 2093, monitor mount 2903, microphones, LED lights, monitors, and more. The bottom OD socket supports a QD shoulder strap for added convenience.The cage also features an Arca-Swiss quick release plate at the bottom, compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, and the quick release plate (riser plate) of DJI RS 2/RSC 2 stabilizer for stabilized shooting. It also works with the Arca-Swiss quick release plate 3154.For enhanced protection and stable signal transmission during filming, the cage can be paired with the optional HDMI Cable Clamp 3000, compatible with Alpha 7R V, Alpha 7 IV, and Alpha 7S III. The cage also allows for the attachment of accessories like hand strap PAC2456 and shoulder strap PSC2428 through the holes on its sides and bottom.The cage comes with a built-in magnetic spanner, facilitating easy disassembly and assembly. Please note, to use the side lock adapter, the split ring on the left side of the camera should be removed first. Also, the HDMI Cable Clamp 3000 is not compatible with Alpha 1 and Alpha 7R IV cameras and may interfere with the synchro terminal interface when used on an Alpha 7R V camera.
