   I travel a lot and bought this item mainly to replace the original charger that came with my camera. I find this much more compact, and therefore portable, than the 2-piece charger and cable supplied by Panasonic. Moreover, I really like the car charger option that lets me add some some juice to my battery while in transit from one site to the next. If you like taking pictures along the way though, it may be better to carry a second battery. I recommend this to anyone who loves taking taking pictures on-the-go, and would rather not worry about losing a spectacular shot to a discharged battery.

   Bought the Panasonic Lumix ZS50 at Costco, which usually throws in extras–which was a camera case, but nothing else. Downfall of that nifty little camera (highly recommended for a good travel camera) is that it only comes with one battery and one must recharge via the camera connected to a cord. The other downfall is the price of Panasonic batteries. After reading recommendations on Amazon for that camera, some pointed to this great charger/battery back. Exactly what I was looking for to take to Europe. And it comes with 2 batteries–already charged. Granted have only had it a short time, so don’t know durability, etc., but based on number of reviews, not worried.Pros: Cost. (Combo charger and 2 batteries are less than one new panasonic battery.), portability. Fairly compact. Plug folds out. Comes with a car charger. Also comes with Euro plug (but see con below on that). Batteries come charged. Battery stays put when using a wall socket versus having it plugged in flat/parallel to the ground.Cons: Euro plug provided doesn’t allow charger to seat completely into it. Not sure why. The charger fits perfectly in plug in wall. The charger inserts perfectly into the European adapter bought separately, so who knows. But this being the only con, it still makes this the deal of the century.

   I needed a charger for my Panasonic Lumix ZS50 camera I bought used without a charger. I found this Wasabi Power Battery Charger for Panasonic DMW-BCM13 on Amazon for a great price. Well made and works perfectly. I sold the ZS50 camera with this charger and bought another ZS50 without a charger and liked the first Wasabi so much I bought a second one. Highly recommend as you can’t go wrong. Wasabi has great products.

   I have another Wasabi charger and batteries for use with another camera, and purchased this one for a different camera. It appears to charge batteries well, and the supplied 12 volt charging cord to enable charging in a vehicle is a nice bonus.

   Got to my house quickly and works great. Had a another charger by watson and the batteries do not fit. Had to shim the batteries on the bottom to of the charger to get it to turn on.
